| ISSTD now uses the COS Abstract Management System for easy online submission of proposals for our annual conference. |
| |
| Because this is the first year that ISSTD is using the COS System, most of you do not yet have a COS username and password. A few of you do (if you have recently submitted a proposal to another meeting that uses the COS system--e.g., ISSTS). The button below will take you to the COS/ISSTD submission site where further instructions are provided about obtaining your own username and password. |

| You will need to have the following information or documents at hand to submit your proposal: |
1. |
Title and abstract of your proposal |
2. |
If you are submitting a symposium, you will need: |
|
(a) |
the title and abstract of the symposium, AND |
| |
(b) |
the titles and abstracts of each paper that will be presented in the symposium |
3. |
The names, degrees, addresses (both email and standard mailing address), including zip or postal codes of all authors or presenters |
4. |
The CV of each author/presenter |
5. |
3 learning objectives that use acceptable verbs in a complete sentence that begins with the words, “Participants will be able to…”. |
6. |
3-5 citations in American Psychological Association style. For links to acceptable verbs and American Psychological Association style, “Return to Presentation Submission Guidelines” (below). |

| Gather this information and these documents BEFORE you enter theISSTD/COS Submission Site. The submission process will 'ask' you for all of the above material and it will not allow you to submit your proposal until you have entered or uploaded all of the above. |
