Transitional Aged Youth SIG

The Transitional Aged Youth Special Interest Group (TAY SIG) of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD) was approved by ISSTD’s Executive Council in 2018. The Mission of the TAY SIG is to further dialogue, knowledge, research, and training on the diagnosis and treatment of transitional aged youth (18-24 year olds) who have complex trauma and dissociative disorders, as well as to improve knowledge about the unique characteristics and needs of this age group. The TAY SIG provides a listserv for its membership that has as its goal to create a comfortable and confidential setting to dialogue on these matters. The officers of the TAY SIG are elected annually by its membership and approved by the Board of ISSTD. Membership in the TAY SIG is free to all ISSTD members as an ISSTD membership benefit.
